Duties for final race at Eaglebrook (race #6):

course officials/gatejudges :  one coach per school.

Course maintenance (slipping the course periodically, roaming with drill/wrench/rake/shovel/etc.):  parents of independent racers, and any coaches who are available. 

 

Notes:

1.       Coaches’ meeting at 2:30 outside the race building.

2.       Course officials’ duties:  serve as gatejudges (must document faults on paper with diagram), perform course maintenance in their section of the course (bring drill and wrench), attend post-race jury meeting.

3.       Coaches must assist with course maintenance, and instruct their racers who are descending the race hill to slip the course (no free-skiing on race hill while race is in progress).

4.       If you are unable to fulfill a designated duty, you must arrange for a substitute. Please alert Greg Leeds or Marc Dancer if you will be swapping duties.
