Minutes of the Fall 2005 Ski Coaches Meeting
Eaglebrook School, Monday, October 24, 2005

1) Convened 7:00 p.m.

2) Introductions

1. Deerfield Academy - Marc Dancer, Jodi Tanguay
2. Eaglebrook School - Jack Shea
3. Mohawk Regional H.S. - James Finney
4. Northfield Mt. Hermon School - Greg Leeds, Greg Lotze

3) Schedule

• Reviewed schedule created at the spring meeting
• All races at Berkshire East

4) Duty Assignments

• If Mohawk doesn’t participate in the Varsity Division, then move their duties to the JV/JR race
• MISL should consider a permanent starter that could be paid $50 a race
• Voted to increase dues accordingly to accommodate a stipend for a race helper
• Greg Leeds will produce the duty assignments for 2006

5) By-Law Revisions

• Read through the MISL by-laws making additions and deletions where required
• Voted to change the tie-breaking criteria for the season individual champion to total time of the skiers’ top finishes that counted
• Spirited discussion on several items including the handling of late starts

6) Treasurer's Report

• Current Balance = $607.51
• Anticipate that with 6 scheduled races at Berkshire East, costs will rise
