Wed. Feb. 6	GS – scheduled GS becomes a 3-run event if one of the first two varsity GS races is cancelled

SL = Slalom
GS = Giant Slalom

This season we will have six races with the top five finishes for both team and individuals counting towards the final standings. If a race is canceled then all five races will count for both team and individual.

IV. Race Day Duties

All coaches need to pitch in even if they are not assigned a specific duty
Greg Leeds will assign race day duties and is primarily in charge of on-hill operations
Reminder that course officials need to be available after the race for the protest period
Williston volunteers to be the starter on the Varsity course
Bement to help with the JV race
Coaches projected their schools team break-down

V. Dues

Dues will remain at:
- $160 per team
- $100 per independent racer
The dues are fine as long as we continue to have around 30 total teams

VI. Other Items

Discussion
- New USSA rule regarding stopping, hiking, and overtaking in GS and Slalom
  - MISL will adopt these rules but modified as follows
    - In both SL and GS, racers that come to a stop may continue provided
      1. They are NOT passed
      2. They do not interfere with the next racer
    - [Motion carried 6 - 1]
- USSA Helmet Rule
  - No soft-eared helmets for GS
